Warranty

1-Year Warranty on Our Labor and Materials

We stand behind the work we do. Here is exactly what that covers, and, just as importantly, what it does not, so there are no misunderstandings later.

  • 1 year standard
  • 2 years on service plan repairs
  • In writing

The warranty, stated plainly

MAX Plumbing provides a 1-year warranty on labor and materials supplied and installed by MAX Plumbing unless otherwise stated in writing on your estimate or invoice.

What is covered

  • Labor performed by MAX Plumbing
  • Materials supplied and installed by MAX Plumbing
  • Workmanship on the approved scope of work
  • Repairs completed under the Annual Service Plan carry a 2-year warranty

What is not covered

  • Customer-supplied materials and fixtures
  • Misuse, neglect, or damage caused after installation
  • Normal wear on existing components we did not supply
  • Freeze damage or lack of insulation
  • Corrosion of existing piping and pre-existing conditions
  • Failures of aging components elsewhere in the system
  • Cosmetic repair, drywall, paint, tile, flooring, cabinets, and finishes

A note on customer-supplied materials

We are glad to install fixtures you purchased yourself when they are compatible with your plumbing and the site conditions. Our labor is still warrantied, but we cannot warranty a product we did not supply and cannot vouch for. If a customer-supplied fixture fails, the manufacturer warranty is your remedy, and a return visit to swap it is billable.

A note on pre-existing conditions

Plumbing systems frequently have hidden or pre-existing issues that are not visible at the time of inspection. Restoring water service after a repair can expose weaknesses in aging components elsewhere in the system. Our warranty covers our work; it does not extend to failures of existing components we did not install. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
