Camera

See the problem. Then go MAX.

A camera inspection replaces guesswork with evidence. We run a camera through the accessible portion of the drain or sewer line and look at what is actually happening inside the pipe, root masses at joints, cracks and offsets, standing water indicating a belly, scale narrowing the bore, or a foreign object nobody expected.

It is the right call when a drain keeps clogging for no obvious reason, when a whole-house backup has already happened once, when you are buying a home with mature trees and original piping, or before committing to any significant sewer expense.

What a camera can show is limited to what is visible and accessible at the time of service, it cannot see through a full blockage or inspect a line with no entry point. We are clear about those limits before we run it rather than after.

FAQ

Drain Camera Inspections FAQs

Straight answers to what people ask us most about this service.

When is a camera inspection worth the money?

When a drain keeps clogging, after any main-line backup, before buying an older home, and before authorizing any sewer repair. Outside those situations it is usually not necessary.

Can you camera a line that is completely blocked?

Not usefully, the camera cannot see past standing water and debris. The line generally needs to be cleared first, then inspected to find out why it blocked.

Do I get to see the footage?

Yes. We walk you through what we are seeing and what it means for your options.
