Sewer
From the drain to the main, call MAX.
Sewer work is expensive enough that nobody should be recommending it on a hunch. We diagnose first, camera inspection of the accessible line, locating where the defect sits and how deep it runs, and only then discuss whether a spot repair or a full replacement is the right answer.
That distinction matters financially. A single broken section under the yard from a root intrusion at one joint is a very different job from a deteriorated cast-iron or Orangeburg line that is failing along its whole length. We will show you what the camera shows and explain what we would do if it were our house.
Where a replacement is warranted, we restore proper fall and drainage with modern piping and add cleanout access so the line can be maintained without excavation next time.
Problems we solve
What this solves
If any of these sound familiar, you are in the right place.
- Recurring main sewer line clogs
- Sewage backing up into lower fixtures
- Sewer odor inside or around the home
- Slow drainage throughout the entire house
- Roots, breaks, or deteriorated sewer piping
- Wet, sunken, or unusually green patches in the yard
- Old Orangeburg, clay, or failing cast-iron sewer lines

Repair vs replace, honestly
A localized break gets a spot repair. We do not sell full replacements to fix one bad joint.

Access built in
Replacements include properly located cleanouts so future maintenance does not mean digging.
Detail
Realistic scope up front
Restoration limits, permit needs, and what the yard will look like afterward are all covered before we start.

Sewer Line Repair & Replacement FAQs
Straight answers to what people ask us most about this service.
How do I know if I have a main sewer line problem?
The strongest signal is multiple fixtures backing up at the same time, especially the lowest ones in the house. Add sewer odor, whole-house slow drainage, or gurgling toilets when the washer drains, and a main-line issue is likely.
Will you have to dig up my whole yard?
Not necessarily. The scope depends on where the defect is, how deep the line runs, and what is above it. We define the excavation footprint before work begins rather than after.
What causes sewer lines to fail?
Root intrusion at joints, pipe material reaching end of life, ground shifting that creates a low spot where waste collects, and crushing from vehicle loads or settlement above the line.
Does homeowners insurance cover sewer line replacement?
Standard policies typically exclude the buried service line unless you carry a specific service-line endorsement. Worth calling your carrier before assuming either way.
